Interior
The idea of Chambers Coffee was to create a space within an open space through the play of framing, bringing presence to Top Ryde City Shopping Centre.
The design aims to express a relaxed and inviting ambience with simple use of materials and textures with an industrial/ retro feel, which is core to the existing shop brand’s identity. Touches of the existing store like the use of plywood and retro style light fittings have been incorporated within the new space.
Features such as the use of black steel framing, large open benches, hanging plants and fixed retro/ industrial light fittings have been added to the seating area to feel more enclosed in an open space. A sea- green colour palette has also been chosen to bring vibrancy to the whole space.
