Dozo Wagyu House

Dozo is a luxury barbeque restaurant that has the desire to stand apart from everyone else. It’s a place where visitors can indulge in the coveted Japanese Wagyu and revel in a space of respite and timeless serenity. Paving a journey to these high-class goods, Dozo is a gem in all senses of the word, drawing people into its glimmering light. For those who wish to experience life in a different light, Dozo is the key to that treasure.

Dozo is like a jewelry box housing the most precious antiquities; illustrious experiences, and premium goods that they want to share with the world. They wanted to elevate the dining experience by creating treasured and unique memories for all patrons.

To give a luxurious feel to the whole brand, we build this brand as modern, detailed, enchanting, and welcoming to everyone. Dozo’s logo is inspired by the classic patterning of traditional Japanese slatted timber panels which represents a purity of Japanese architectural features and a tasteful timeless piece of design, the logo utilizes repetitive lines to create an element sculptural logo that also represents the beef groove. To keep a strong representation of a cow, we added a horn-shaped detail at the beginning and the end of the logo. The frame shape is inspired by Mokko Gata, as well as the intricate inlays of copper and gold that often decorated these sword mounts. We decided to use Mokko Gata as the representation of treasure because it’s similar to melon-shaped, and in Japanese culture, melon is a high-class fruit that symbolizes wealth.

The primary colors of this brand are black, white, and gold as it represents a luxury brand and jewellery. Not only is it used in all the branding elements, but this is also used for interior design as a way of finding signage and also as graphic wall elements. The interior concept of this brand is hidden, sparkling, and lavish. The combination of gold, dark color, and wood materials gives an aura of luxury and exclusive. Same with the branding, all the interior designer has a layer that is inspired by the jewelry box, from how the lighting came out from the bottom to, the wall partition, and even the toilet.
